Learning Goals

Chronic pain has a way of twisting life around so that every day seems the same. Do you remember how you felt one week ago today, for example? You might remember being in pain that day even if you weren’t, just because pain is such a big part of your life: You start to expect that it will always be with you.

But actually, pain can get better or worse on a daily (or hourly) basis. It’s hardly ever the same from day to day.

In this lesson:

  1. You’ll learn how important it is to keep a record of your daily pain.
  2. You’ll learn the steps in using the Daily Tracker.
  3. You’ll learn how to use the Daily Tracker to prepare for medical visits with providers who are treating your pain.
